History of Kiyama Temple
We are waiting for you in a quiet environment with four seasons
We will continue to protect the temple alongside the Koyasan Shingon sect taught by Kobo Daishi and Kukai, and will welcome those who come to visit us at prayers and annual events. The benefits of prayer include sickness and physical health based on the pharmacist Nyorai who can save illnesses and hesitations of sentient beings with the elixirs created by Io, prosperous business and traffic safety.
It was said that it was erected in the early winter of 815 when Kobo Daishi Mimasaka was visited, and it was said that it was erected when an old man in the shape of a wooden bridge led him to Reiyama in Maniwa City, Okayama Prefecture, and it has been protected since then. I will. We accept graves and eternal memorial services for those who have no guardian of the grave or are too far away to manage, so we look forward to visiting you at prayers and annual events.

I continue to protect the temples that follow the Shingon sect that Kukai preached
We accept prayers, etc. on the mountaintop of the sacred mountain, which is rich in expression every four seasons.
The erection started when Kukai was led by an old man in the shape of a woodcutter on this land, and since then, monks have been protecting for generations for a long time. It is known as a famous temple that has believers in various parts of China even though there was a history of separation of Kiyama Temple and Kiyama Shrine, which was originally a Shinto and Buddhist tradition, due to the Shinto and Buddhism separation policy by the Meiji government. The main Buddha is Yakushi Ruriko Nyorai, the 11th Kanzeon Bodhisattva, and the guardian deity is Zenkai Inari Daimyojin and Kiyama Ushido Tenno.
The priest will act on behalf of Yakushi Nyorai, a variety of requests, such as fulfilling the wishes of Yakushi Nyorai, the fulfillment of various wishes for the 11th Kanzeon Bodhisattva, and the Aomen Kongo monkey knot = matchmaking. "Pray for the health and longevity of your dear parents," "Pray for prosperous business in order to promote a private business," "I want to fulfill a relationship with a partner who spends a lifetime with me," etc. Please. Although it is not Buddhism, Japanese Shinto also has the idea of "Kotorei", and by practicing these prayers together with the monks, the energy for realization may start. I pray that sincere prayers will be fulfilled by taking some action by myself.
We will carry out a permanent memorial service for those who have difficulty managing the grave
In recent years, there are many cases in which the management of graves becomes difficult due to the situation such as the nuclear family, the concentration of generations working in urban areas, and the declining birthrate and aging population. In addition to the lack of land for graves in urban areas, as a measure to overcome the current situation that grave management is too distant after grandparents due to depopulation in rural areas, we propose "eternal memorial service". I will. We will place the bones stored in the graves of the people who requested us in the ossuary hall and offer a memorial service for a limited time.
Since there is no need to build a new tombstone, the ancestors can be offered a memorial service while keeping the cost of the memorial service down. If the grave that everyone often associates with is a detached house, is the Ossuary a condominium or apartment? Due to various circumstances such as the aging of the grave and the management of the grave became difficult, we will come to request a permanent memorial service. If you are unable to manage the memorial service for your ancestors because there is no one to manage it, please consider changing to a form that allows you to continue the memorial service with many people. I am sure that your ancestors will also be delighted with it.
